Hi, This is me, Linda Carter just clowning around I am 52 years old and have been married to Bob for over 34 years. I have two gorgeous sons Les and Dan, a beautiful daughter-in-law Katie, and the most fantastic grandaughter any one could wish for - Ellie aged 10 years. I live in St Helens England and the photos you will see are my family and friends. ENJOY !!!

Ellie December 2008 : Our grandaughter Ellie came to stay with us for a few days after xmas. These are photos of her opening the presents she got off her dad and Katie. lyme park cheshire : these photos were taken last summer at Lyme Park . we love to visit and have picnics and walk around the fabulous house and grounds and of course bob gets to fly his kite !! there was lots or renovation work being done to the roof so not the best time to take photos of our little home in the country !!

DUBLIN FEBRUARY 2008 : On the 4th February 2008 me and Bob went for 4 days to Dublin in Ireland. We had the most amazing time and we were never still for the whole 4 days. The photos here show just some of the places we visited i.e. O'Connell Street, Guninness Storehouse, Jamesons Whiskey tour, Trinity Church College, St Patricks Cathedral, Kilmanleigh Jail, Christ Church Cathedral, Molly Malone Statue, Irish music and Irish Dancing plus sampling a drop of the black stuff !! We would definately go back as there is so much more to see and do. We visited the Temple bar area of the city where all the bars and clubs are but we loved the history of this beautiful city and with my great grandparents coming from Ireland I felt like i was going back to my roots.

Ellie October 07 : This is us and our beutiful grandaughter Ellie. She had come to visit us in October. we went to Mancahester to the european market where ellie loves to sample the freshly made pancakes. This time it was with fresh strawberries and cream Mmmm! we took a ride on the manchester wheel. she is seen modelling the nightshirt that les and katie had sent her. she loved the fact that it glowed in the dark. .

august 07 : Bob and Myself had a couple of days away on the east coast. somewhere we had never visited but promised ourselves we would. we went to Scarborough and on to Whitby. whitby is a a fishing port and is famous for being the town that dracula was washed on shore in the brahm stoker book. the abbey there was reported to be dracula's haunt. its 199 steps to the top and yes 199 steps down again we also visited robin hood bay which in the 18th century made its living out of smuggling in whitby on the last day there were traditional morris dancers and if you look in the crowd i am sure you might see draculas favourite watching them it was the usual mid august weather cool and windy and the sea as you can see was quite rough but we were together and not at work and loved every minute of it .

ELLIE APRIL 2007 : Apri 2007 we had our darling grandaughter Ellie to stay for a few days. We had a really great time and our days were filled with exciting things to do . The arrival of a pair of healeys from les and katie where the highlight of her stay and as you will see she couldnt wait to get dressed to try them. We went to the candle workshop where the girls made candles and badges and models then to the ice cream farm for fresh made ice cream and then on to beaston castle to join the knights trail.

tatton october 2006 : One typical autumn sunday we went for a walk in tatton park. this is an old stately home with fantastic grounds. we found a young male stag grassing and then came across a beast of a stag with his 23 hinds around him. it was a fantastic sight and we were very lucky to get so close.the rutting season is here and the stags protect their territory and their hinds. some of the photos are a little dull in colour but that was the autumn light and then the next ones are in wonderful sunshine - this british weather !!

ellie august 2006 : this is our beautiful grandaughter ellie who came to stay with us this month. she will be 9 years old on th 9th september. she is with her two friends rachel and rebecca. they had a fun day and did girly shopping and bought shiny dangly earrings and sequined shoes and false nails and then they had a day at the park and had great fun with the park rangers finding all kinds of creatures in the water and then looking at them under the microscope. she is growing up so fast and she is a real beauty

san francisco : We have visited san francisco several times when we are visiting les and katie and it is one of our favourite places. we have done all the touristy places and we have even flown over and under the golden gate bridge in an helicopter. every time we visit san francisco we see something new so its a city that is very special to us. when i was young my mum always used to sing "i left mu heart in san francisco by tony bennett. my mum never travelled very far from home and holidays were usually just one day outings. so san francisco is so special to me

linda's 50th birthday : january 3rd 2006 wa a tuesday and i got the best suprise ever when my family arranged a suprise meal for my birthday. les and katie acame ovef from california and brought katies mum darcy. my sister pat and her husband tom came as well. it was a truly special occasion and i loved every minute of it. the food was out of this world.
