One typical autumn sunday we went for a walk in tatton park. this is an old stately home with fantastic grounds. we found a young male stag grassing and then came across a beast of a stag with his 23 hinds around him. it was a fantastic sight and we were very lucky to get so close.the rutting season is here and the stags protect their territory and their hinds. some of the photos are a little dull in colour but that was the autumn light and then the next ones are in wonderful sunshine - this british weather !!
